Widest 700c tire
#1
Can anyone please help me with finding a wide 700c tire? I am looking for something I can use on a hybrid bike that %99 of the time is on the street pavement. I have been looking but cannot seem to find much in a wide tire in this wheel size .. Thank You all Again for your help , Don J.

You have to be careful about fitting wider tyres because of clearance problems around your forks and rear stays, especially if you ride in muddy conditions, when the mud can build up quite heavily at these points.

And with fenders from personal experience can get quite noisy as well as the clogging Sad .

I've put over 600 miles on my Borough XC 700cx45 hybrid tires over bike trails, city streets, and off road. I run them at 80 pounds (max is 85), and they ride really well on the street. I have to drop the pressure on really rough mountain bike trails though. There are some places on our rails-to-trails bike trail where some low class morons like to throw glass bottles, and they are sometimes impossible to avoid.

600 miles and counting without a single flat...
