Acer Aspire one Computer
#1
I just got this little computer for when I get to go on my road trip to Bangor maine this spring. Acer Aspire one Computer its so small but it has anything you might want on it. I did up grade the memory and to the windows 7 Home full. It sure works good here. But I sure did hate to lose my Linux but oh well lol. Guess I am back to windows after over 9 years on linux computers. I built all of my computers but I gave in to this one for the road with 160gb hard drive and two GB of memory it has all I want in a computer. Its weight is 2.76lb And I got the blue one.
My dad always told me a Sledge a matic can fix any thing.

Well, a recent Ubuntu should run on it, too. Just give it a shot.

Yep, there are several Linux distros that cater to netbooks. There's Ubuntu's "Netbook Remix", and one derived from it called "Easy-Peasy", and if all you do is Twitter and chat and the like then you could check out "MobLin". Heck, even Mandriva has a netbook-oriented version.

Those are all geared towards the small screen on netbooks, but I just run a normal workstation version of PC/OS on my Asus Eee. I had to do a little tweaking to get my mobile broadband working, but other than that, no problems.

Just head over to distrowatch.org and do a search for netbook.
