Hey,
has anyone used chatGPT or any other AI tools for training purposes?
Wondering if people actually use it to plan training. For example, for putting together a marathon plan, ultramarathons, triathlons, for planning cycling workouts or regular road rides, adjusting training week to week, etc. If you’ve tried it, how did it work for you?

There always some room for AI applications for training, comparing metrics, training progress, etc., but some things should just be left and taken on the road - feeling, ambition, motivation, enjoyment.

I think it's a great tool for a second opinion, but it's not a replacement for knowing what you're doing or what you're working with.
You should look deeping into multi-sourcing information and cross-referencing to find the relativity between biological and physiological interactions.
There's a lot of trade secrets in the fitness industry, and it's not easy to figure them out unless you look closely between the lines.

Yup, I've used AI for advice. It's been great to get another viewpoint I didn't think of
You definitely need to be careful with AI.
It's not a replacement for knowing what you're doing and you can't always rely on it to teach you either. That's the biggest catch.
I just asked Gemini yesterday to calculate the spoke lengths for me, and it was way off. I asked it about spoke length before this, and ran into a bit of a convoluted mess, but mostly was able to source some solid information to affirm the points of interest.
So again, try to multi-source the information you seek when it comes down to anything really important.

Yup, AI is an assistant. For me, it helps generate ideas from another perspective. What you do with it is your prerogative.
