Rear V-Brake leaning to one side
#1
All,

Just had my brakes replaced and repaired. I noticed that my rear v-brakes were skewed to one side. Not sure how to fix or reconfigure this. Any help is appreciated. The attachment shows the skewed v-brakes leaning to one side.

Thanks.

the spring is not attached, just needs pushed and locked in place on the arm. look at and mimic the front ones

It looks like your caliper spring hasn't been hooked back into position.

The silver metal wire/rod that is hanging out from the side on the right acts like a spring. It should be hooked behind your right hand caliper to hold it in position. You should be able to do this with your hands - no tools required.

If your not sure what I mean, take a look at the back of the left hand caliper.
