I took my Tadpole Trike out tonight and for the 1st time noticed both brakes shuttering pretty bad when applying them. It only has a couple hundred miles on it at the most and probably closer to 100.
Any Ideas what the cause might be

Not exactly sure what you mean by shuttering. But if you are getting vibration and pulsing first thing I would check is the pad and caliper mounting. Than make sure everything is nice and tight. The wheels discs, calipers etc. Did some oil get on the discs? Everything nice and dry?
Be kind of strange if both brakes started acting up. Check them one at a time. I guess you mean the front as it looks like you got three discs. They look cable not hydraulic. Could also be your steering lessoned up if you feel it from both brakes..
Good that you are riding again.
Never Give Up!!!
Thanks it has only 2 brakes. Kind of a strange set up. If you grab one to hard and not the other you make a sudden turn. I neglected to look at it today but I did go for a ride. When the sun hit them (sun is something haven,t seen much this year). as I was riding I could clearly see 2 black stripes around each of the rotors. So maybe they just need cleaned. I will try to remember to look tomorrow.
My dog is a slow learner. She thinks she has to pull me. I have the lead as short as I dare but she can still get alongside the front wheel. That weren't no rock I felt the front wheel go over.
Remove the pads and sand them gently
Put brake cleaner on a lint-free towel, then wipe the surface of discs...
Should be good, if not your pads maybe contaminated with oil, grease, dirt...
