Restoring old bike (Corsaro Aegis) - help figuring out derailleur hanger
#1
Hello,

I am currently trying to rebuild a Corsaro Aegis, and the derailleur hanger doesn't seem correct for the frame. It doesn't seem to line up with the dropouts on the frame (photo below). The bike had a suntour V-GT luxe derailleur. Can anyone provide some insight as to how I can properly mount this derailleur to the frame? As it is with the current hanger, the wheel is not really able to go far back enough in the dropouts.

Also if anyone has any knowledge on this frame in general would love to hear it, can't find much from googling.

Thanks,
Kaam

You photo is not displaying. I am not sure of what you are talking about. Can you mount the rear mech at all (threads in and pivots freely)? You may have a bent drop-out/hanger. Have a shop check the alignment and correct it if bad, or use a DAG to check it yourself.

If everything essentially worked okay before disassembly then it should mount and function okay upon reassembly.
