How do I move Shimano 105 hood?

I slipped on some black ice this morning. I and my bike slid across the road. Luckily I could get back on the bike and ride home.

The impact of the fall was taken by the right brake lever hood which has been pushed inwards about 10º.

I can't see how to loosen/rotate and re-tighten it. Shimano's techdocs website seems to be down.

Any thoughts grateful received...

FYI they have them back up now.

If you look on the outside of the shifter you should see a small groove that goes under the rubber.
Lift the rubber slightly and there should be the head of an Allen screw.
Slacken this off with an Allen key and turn the shifter straight. Re-tighten screw.
Some newer Shimano have "Torx" screws so these need the appropriate tool now.

Many thanks for that. I see the allan key screw fitting, but can't pull the rubber up high enough to get my allan key into it. So I think I'll give in and take it to my local bike shop.

Get yourself a longer set of Allen keys (metric).
Use the long side for fitting to the screw head and the short side for leverage.
I put a small length of tube on the short side if I need more leverage pressure.
