if so how good are they. I am thinking about getting a set of these my self. I hear they are the best out here for the money.

I only now just put on my new Scwalbe Marathon Plus tires (26 x 1.75) so I cannot yet comment on how well they ride. However, they went on my Trek At 550 rims (stock 26 x 1.95 tires) LIKE A PIECE OF CAKE. No tire irons, no sweating, just a bit of coaxing and heel-of-your-palm up-and-over pushing. I did watch the You-Tube 'Spa' video, but mine went on much easier than his did in the video. They are certainly a lot skinnier than the stock Bontragers, now I shall see how they ride.

What can I say – they’re tires. I only rode 12 km on them (it’s ~46 degrees C here), and honestly, if in a double-blind test I doubt very much you could distinguish an[/size]y difference in ride from the stock Bontrager H5 26 x 2.0 balloon tires. The Marathons are much skinnier (see photo), a bit less pressure, but I reckon one road tire is going to ride pretty much like any other road tire. Really, the biggest thrill was getting them on in less than 5 minutes.
