Gravel Bikes for Petite Women
#1
My friend is looking for a new gravel bike. She's petite - like me - so she's having trouble finding something that isn't too big. I would love to recommend something like an Obed Boundary, but they just aren't available in a small enough size. Any suggestions for a 2x, carbon gravel bike? I personally ride my CX bike on gravel by swapping out the wheels and cassette, so something like that might be an option for her, too. Jamis used to have smaller women's bikes but their current lineup doesn't seem like it goes as small as it used to.

Thanks for your help!

Hi @Amanda_W these are the type of questions I live for but sadly I didn't see this come in last year so I hope my answer would still be of use or would still help your friend, the best brand right now for women is Liv (not because its female specific) but because of the access it brings for very very small sizes, you can check out Liv Devolt for this, also you can check Canyon as they have very very inclusive sizing, the specific model you're looking for is the Grizl and the Grail (grail is more racier while Grizl leans more on the fun side)

I hope this helps

Read @meamoantonio as he offers great advice and also go into you local bike shop (s) and get advice.

The only advice I'd give is don't rush it.

She'll probably have it a long time but if it's a bad call she may give biking a miss
