As soon as I saw that you are from CT, I was going to mention the beautiful "Airline Trail," and then I saw that you live by/on it. You are so lucky! I didn't know about it and rode on the main road while cycling from Boston to Middletown, CT. Fortunately, one of the Warmshower hosts informed me about it and even rode with me until I got on the Airline Trail. It's absolutely stunning. I think I rode on it a few times. It holds some of my best memories and is truly a well-hidden secret of the Northeast (not just CT).. :-)

I hope you get to enjoy it even more than I did.

I am new to this forum as well.....also from CT....Bristol Have been riding the Farmington River trails sporadically for a few years now. Just purchased e-bikes for my wife and i and hope to do much more riding
