I am still wandering how your friend did the green and red paint job. I think I have it some what figured out. Splatter paint is the only thing I could remotely come up with. I don't expect an answer to that but atleast tell me how many days it took him?

I guess this is done by first painting the black and when it is dry putting some water (maybe with a splash of dish washing liquid?) on it. The water will form specks, puddles, nets. Then, spray paint a coat of the second colour on top. Where you have water the paint will stay on top of the water and not stick to the frame. I have only read about it, never tried it (paint and I don't like each other), but forgot where I found the idea... maybe on instructables? It doesn't help that I forgot how the process is called...

I give up! I honestly can't think of one single part on that machine that could be changed to blue without tipping it to the other side of pretty.

Edit: Oh, wait! A blue anodized pulley in the tensioner! That would be schweet.

Hi Rob I thought about it but really couldnt bring myself to add anymore blue. I tried a blue seatpost, handlebar and crankset but it looked like overkill. Check out the all blue slick tyres on Ebay, I amost added those too but ended up sticking to the Kojaks because of their speed.

That is a awesome color scheme. I think it is just the proper amount of blue to black ratio. Very nice!

Thanks for your comments. It really pained me to respray the Cannondale but it was badly scratched and there was no way we could replicate that amazing Pearl Blue. I hope I would not be crucified by the Cdale overs.

Hi Bill I had a look at the Pittsburgh Steelers merchandise in the European NFL shop and you're right. The black contrasts well with the deep yellow.
Fortunately the fork is working fine, However have a look at my solution for any dead Cannondale Fatty Headshocks - dont rebuild it, just strip the guts out and weld it to make a very nice rigid fork.
