Welcome Rob. I rode in Boston, Cambridge during 2011-2023. Hope winter's not bad this year..

Jesper, a couple of years ago I rode to Fitchburg and there's a new bike path that's pretty. Otherwise, in the past, I would ride on the beautiful, tree-lined backroads of North-central MA including Gardner..

Hi, I'm in Woodward Oklahoma,USA..
I ride a Schwinn Meridian 1 Speed to and from work everyday. But my favorite place to ride is down a moderately steep hill with no side traffic,so I can just enjoy the speed and don't have to worry about braking or dying. The Schwinn is just a cruiser meant for leisurely rides. So down a hill is as much excitement as I can expect.
But lol ask me about the cheap import I motorized! Mm

Personally, I don't recall watching it that much, but I was on drugs. Big Grin

That is funny!

Circa 1979, my little brother had to spend two weeks flat on his back with patches covering both eyes, following surgery to save one injured eye. He ended up getting hooked on daytime soaps because my mom had them on while doing the housework.

I am guessing just listening to the soaps? Personally I would "listen" some movies/shows without even having to watch..some are so addicted.

One of my biking buddies recommended I record my rides and post on Youtube. Not just the highlights but hours and hour-long videos. He said some people just like to see videos of cycling or sticking or such which working. I was surprised but whatever gets work done..:-)

I live in rural Nevada, unlimited single track, cow trails, two track roads and sage brush. I'm trying to decide on what e bike to purchase. Is there a app/ filter I can use to list my needs and physical abilities to narrow my search ? Thanks all

From Florida and the contest brought me here but we bike all over the place because it's bike friendly in Florida and I am saving a lot of money not maintaining a car right now just sayin ... My vision is not all that anymore either to drive but I'm not old. I have not gotten involved with electric bikes either because the exercise of it all is very important to me...thank u for offering up a sweepstakes opportunity, this bike is nice!

Welcome @Bucky, I am jealous for the riding trails, opportunities you have around you..

On a quick search of Bikeride, I came up with the following that you might find useful:

https://www.bikeride.com/best-electric-bikes-under-2000/

Are you looking for a e-mountain bike? When you ask about an app/filter to help you decide on a bike, are you looking for a standalone app? I know of a few websites like

https://www.theproscloset.com/collections/e-bike

Also, feel free to start a new thread listing your must-haves, abilities and folks with experience may direct you in the right direction...:-)

I live in the USA, state of Ohio. I recently retired and I need to be more active so I bought a bike and I’m going to check out the bike paths near my home. I just bought a Vienna Globe 4, and saw a post on this site about a guy who had one and customized it by removing the paint and polishing it and made a few other modifications, it looks stunning. I’m hoping to find more information about the bike and peoples experience with them. They are very rare here.

Hello Srm1, welcome to the forum and congratulations on your recent retirement and on your new bike. Good luck with your "project"..:-)

This forum has been great for me to learn about bike maintenance, rides and finding a community..

Take care.

I am currently looking for someone that is willing to help me out and gift me a bike. I currently moved in with grandparents and have no means of transportation to anywhere. A bike would help out a lot and also help with my cardio. I am 6’3 around 270-280 pounds. And would like to start riding around to places while cutting weight. A bike would mean so much to me as it would reduce time from walking. Last time I ever rode a bike was when I was 12, atm just turned 24. If anyone can help out with a sturdy bike, I would appreciate you a lot. Thanks in advance.

’m from Colorado, and my favorite place to ride is along Trail Ridge Road in Rocky Mountain National Park. The views are unreal, and the altitude adds a fun challenge!

I currently live in Gainesville, FL. I make it down to Ocala, FL twice a month to ride Santos MTB Park.

Hello, lake city here! My wife and I love the Hawthorne Trail. Bought an ebike so we can do the 36 mile loop! After my stroke, anything over 10 miles is a challenge!
