I live in Vancouver, Canada.

My favorites are touring on the open highway (the islands near here are beautiful), or riding my BMX in an empty parking lot.

This makes me think of the opening scenes from RAD with all the pro BMX guys doing the flatland stuff

Haha yeah, that was one of my favorite movies when I was a kid. I think I wore out the video store's only rental copy lol. Always wanted the 'RL Osborn' by Redline but never found one...

From: Northeast Connecticut

Favorite Stomping Ground(s)
- Bigelow Hollow State Park
- West Thompson Dam

P.S. - My appendix burst in the 3rd grade and my mother still talks about "That damned bike movie I had to watch with you 4 times a day".

Personally, I don't recall watching it that much, but I was on drugs. Big Grin

I'm currently in Wales, UK. I'm more of an MTBer:

My favourite Downhill course at the moment is Caersws, quite a major venue and a good, muddy laugh.

I also like XC/All mountain stuff as well, with Brechfa and Coed-Y-Brenin in Wales being firm favourites. My University MTB club often to ride-outs to Nant-Y-Arian (about 10-15) miles away. I love some of the views we get whilst blasting round:

...and the carnage of riding down a long, steep scree slope on the way back!

I live in Arkansas it sucks here too lol. I hope to move to Bangor Maine some time soon if not there then my wife wants to move to Cedar Hill Mo. There is a lot of cars where I ride so far I have been lucky. I can ride over the Big Damn Bridge thats what they call it I think its a bad name for a bridge but I did not name it lol. I think you can do a search on this just so you know I am not making this up here. The bridge is high over the river here then it goes all over NLR I have done a 24 mile ride and did not see half of it. It was hot the day I went last year. I hope to do it again this spring and go to see all of it not sure how long this would take and don't care either it should be fun.
My dad always told me a Sledge a matic can fix any thing.

Location: Germany, close to Frankfurt
Favorites:
- Road: "Ried" (the area south west of Darmstadt, very flat), Odenwald (low mountain range) there are many roads with only low traffic.
- Off-road: Odenwald

at the moment: any place with rather undisturbed snow (though this is rare now, started raining this weekend, everything icy, very nasty to ride)

Hi

I hail from downunder, Australia, or rather Perth, Western Australia to be precise. It claims to be the most isolated capital city in the world (quicker to fly overseas than to the other side to Sydney) and would have to be one of the windiest places on earth. In the summer we have an afternoon sea breeze called the Fremantle Doctor. It blows in directly from the southern ocean often (read nearly daily over summer) with gusts over 50 km/h being common.

My regular afternoon commute is into this wind for up to 43 km along the coast. Good training I guess Smile

A little taste of the coast on a less than ideal day. At the moment, summer, the water is an amazing blue and green colour.

Regards
Andrew

I live in Pittsburgh, and this is my approximate route to work in the morning. I'm usually on the road at about 3-4am, and it's so peaceful. My favorite part is that I go through 3 or 4 different neighborhoods in the span of about half an hour. My house is in a somewhat suburban area, with lots of trees and hills and wildlife (in one week I saw 7 deer and a fox). Next comes Southside, the party area, tons of bars, and there's always people out. Downtown is usually empty, and then my work is in the small, local business center of town, and there's usually just a few people out going to work. At least 10 people who work within a 3 minute walk of my job also ride to work Smile

I've been wanting to figure out how to hook up a camera to take video while I ride, there's an amazing view of downtown when I'm going down the hills Smile

I live in the great cycling city of Portland, Oregon. I love to ride out on Sauvie Island, with great views of farmland and the Columbia River. Also along the Willamette River, which cuts through the center of the city, there's an esplanade on both sides that's great for riding and people watching.
