Airless bike tires
#1
These airless tires look interesting. I have not had them myself. I am only going by what I have seen on the internet.

In my mind I think these may be a viable use in bike rental stations like you see in many towns nowadays, should help lower Bicycle upkeep and down time possibly. Would not use on any of my bicycles that I ride.

I have seen a video on these before. They looked very promising for commuters. Their lead is a specialist in rubber compounds.

Another one on the rise uses Nasa technology. It's called the METL tire.

Looks promising once again for commuters—and as a training tire.

But certainly isn't expected to be a replacement for classic tires due to the difference in rigidity.
