Front crank and derailer
#1
i have a 21 speed bike and my front crank on the side with the 3 front sprockets is turning like it's warped. it's really wobbly
the opposite side turns fine and turns straight
the sprockets are not warped
anyone have an idea what the problem is?
the inside part that comes out of the bike frame is straight, but the sprocket and pedal ass. seems to be on crooked,

this bike ( Oryx volt) has only been used for about 5 mos. and i've had it for about 8 mos.

Sounds like your crank arm came loose. Not too sure of the Oryx as from the website I think it is Canadian made. Here is the website I found for them ...

If you are not to bicycle mechanically inclined I would say go to the Local Bike Shop. If you are pretty good then you will need 12mm to a 15mm socket and ratchet screw driver.
Take off what looks like to be a cap on the crank arm. Then find out what size the nut/bolt is inside. Then tighten it down with a some muscle behind it. That should fix your problem. If you can before you do this please take a couple of pictures of the crank arm to help us determine if what I said is correct.
Good maintenance to your Bike, can make it like the wheels are, true and smooth!
