Help me choose a comfort bike seat
#1
Hi everyone!
I'm confused :/ It's time to change the seat of my city bike (cracks, cracks and lots of kms) but I'm not sure ... I have one of those heavy, bulky seats with springs. Is this a typical choice for a low entry women's bike? Many of the options look swollen (hah, I couldn't help myself) and bulky. I want something lighter, but what are my options in the "comfort seat" category for women? Do these bulky seats really make difference in terms of comfort and softness? Thank youuuu Smile)

A lot of it is personal preference. What you like may not be the same as others like.

I like a large seat, and find it more comfortable.

Is there any way you can try a seat before you buy it?

Some bike shops have a test trial program. I suppose most online purchases would allow for returns if you weren't satisfied.
I have found one saddle that has been a winner for me when putting it on bikes for others to ride, and that is Cloud 9 /C9. They make cruiser style saddles so it may depend on what you are looking for specifically. I have been installing the models with bushings for shock absorbers over the coil spring design.

I have used a Serfas saddle that was on a bike when I got it. It served well and has a more racing design (narrower), but had gel cushion at the sit bones areas.
