Posting images

When I post images, should they be displayed in the post I am writing? I have tried, and they don't seem to be. Is there anything I should know about posting images that may not be obvious?

I just did this with the "choose file" button then the "add attachment" button , then hit the "post reply button

Before you hit the "post reply button," can you see the image on the screen? Or does it just show the name of the image?

I have tried posting images from my computer.

Is there any restriction, where you can't post images until you have a certain number of posts?

I think there is a button to preview post before you post, what I notice is after you click on your file and hit "add attachment you will see the file extension but not the photo, repeat for all photos you want to post. you will see the file extensions listed , then post your pictures will load from there. once a member you should be able to post, i am not aware of any time frame to be able to post images
