Need advice on Bike Rack

Planning to buy a bike rack for the first time.

My car is a Subaru XV Crosstrek. Can you tell me the pros and cons of hitch and roof mount?

What do you think guys, is there anyone here already tried this kind?

I am a roof rack guy. hitch mount are fine if the are the type to set your bike in. hang your bike style like the one pictured beat the bikes up in my opinion
