New bike advice

Hello,

I'm looking to buy a new bike since my old one no longer fits me. If anyone could recommend something, it would be of great help. Some specific things I'm looking for are: a hybrid with no suspension; WITH disc brakes and with matte white/silver/black paint with no or minimal other colours (I'm fussy for aesthetics, sorry). My budget is 600 GBP or less.

You are seriously limiting your options given the need for aesthetics being a primary concern. You can easily have a frame painted to your own custom color(s)
Both of the previous posts are quite sound regarding purchasing options and expected use.
Your primary concerns should be fit and function over looks which can be readily modified by yourself or professionally.
That GT looks pretty good in any color.
