Hi! I’m checking out two vintage bikes today and tomorrow.

I’m going back to school in Montreal and getting rid of my car. So I’ll be riding this as a commuting bike, and perhaps longer rides. I already have an aluminum race-y bike (Scott speedster with 105), which I don’t mind selling if the new bike works out better. I was kinda tempted for a cheap ish steel bike for little more comfort less flashy look. I have short legs (6’ tall and wear 30-31in inseam pants).
The Zurich seems to be in a pretty good condition. Few minor paint chips, which I’m not too concerned about. What else should I check when I get to see it in person? I can get it for $325, but considering that wheels are crap, I’m thinking of picking up a decent entry leve wheels for 200$ or so. Maybe get a decent Mavic (open pro?) for $3-400.
The colnago is obviously a well known classic, and $800 seems to be decent price for good condition with good wheels. I don’t see much issues in the photos. I don’t know what the Columbus zona steel is like compared to Reynolds 853.
