How do I crack open a ROLF Satellite hub?
#1
Alex,
This is a ROLF Satellite hub. Not sure how to crack it open? Two cone wrenches I guess?

Hi Chuck,
That's a nice hub... hope you can get it fixed. Yup, two cone wrenches should do it... put one on the flats closest to the hub, hold it tight, and then loosen the outer nut counter-clockwise.

Thanks Alex... I'll let you know how it goes.

Got it done. The bearings were worn and there was just enough grease in there to coat the bearings. hardly any grease in there at all. I put new bearings in there and greased the hub up good. Cannot hear any hollow clicking noises now. Thanks for your help.
