Vintage Bianchi

can anyone help me find some information on a vintage Bianchi. I was told it is around 75 years old. Worth? rarity?...I bought it at a yard sale because I need to get some exercise, but was afraid to go taking it apart to clean it if it is valuable.

Nice catch Smile The brake cable system is quite something! Are there any other tiny bits or details on the bicycle that can help with the identification? I'm confused with the chainguard, what material is it? Bianchi bikes from the similar timeline had different original chainguards and this might be a replacement.

Autobahn, Thank you for responding. I took a closer look at the chain guard and it appears to be original. The paint is the same color as the bike with the same amount of wear. I also don't see any marks where a different guard would have been attached. It is made of tin and the sticker seems original....but I am no bike expert. .....what do you think the value is?

You might try this place. You can contact them on the website.

If I knew how to ride a bike properly, I'd do it every time.
