Mineral oil for brakes
#1
Hi all. Is there any difference between Shimano and Magura brake oils? Of course manufacturers suggest strictly that you have to use only their oil for their brakes and so on, but is there an actual reason for it or is it just a marketing trick for fools like me??

I recommend using the recommended oil. However , the important thing is to not mix two different brands. keep it simple. Why play around with it. Use what it says to use.
