Chain sticks when pack pedaling

I just finished a complete overhaul if the bike. Everything was cleaned, bearings washed and packed in fresh grease.

When I went to live the chain, I noticed that back pedalling causes the chain to stick:

Any ideas?

I would guess that the top pulley on the derailleur is pushing up against the bottom of the rear cog so it can't rotate backwards well. There is usually a "b screw" adjustment on the back of the derailleur that will pull it off the cog.

Also check you chain length. It didn't look off in the video, but it can affect how the derailleur sits.

Other issue could be if the rear cog's ratchet is binding. If you take the chain off, does the cog freewheel easily when you spin it by hand.
