Very nice PK. Hard to believe a 93 could be in such great condition.

Thanks Elmore, it has a chip here and there but overall pretty solid. It was in un ridable condition when I picked it up. It had been blasted with overspray from a new construction build, you can still see some splatter on the pedal in the pics (grey). Brake pads dry and hard, paint was dull and grimy. The bike was also covered in saw dust. The owner must have worked with wood to some degree. 14.5 in. frame, not my favorite size of bike to flip. It certainly shines like new now, hand polished to a fine lustre.

Its kind of sad seeing people spend their money on throw away Huffys when with some searching they can find real bicycles. Kind of amazing they can be build, shipped from China and still sold for $75.

On the other hand if Huffy's put more people on starter bicycles that's a good thing.

Well those who kinda know me, know I stay pretty true to the older steelies. They simply make great re-purposed bicycles that last a long time. They can be tough sells without a showroom, but once they do come and test ride, it ends up in a sale. I paid the asking price of $75. A little high in the non working state but there was still some meat on the bone I felt. I fluffed and buffed it, new tubes/tires, cables/housing, new grips, new brake pads. the first person to come and take it for a test ride took it home! Dad and his 11yr old son. The smile on that kids face! its what makes this hobby worth while. Sold for $230. Life is good. Now I will have to see what I can do with the $25 Trek 850 basket case i just picked up. It just never stops it seems.
