Compression adjustment
#1
Hi,
I have a Rock Shox Reba fork from 2005. The compression adjustment knob is of the variety that attches to a cable so that I can adjust it with my thumb while riding. I'd like to do away with this system and replace the knob with the simple lever which requires a rider to reach down to adjust the compression. Can you let me know whether this is possible and where I'd get the parts (I'm in Korea so I'll have to order them via the internet). Thanks in advance!

do you mean the remote lockout lever?

Hi Painkiller,

It's a lever that adjusts the amount of travel in the front fork. I had the lever on another bike and it was blue and about a cm in length. It sits on top of one side of the fork. I'm not sure that it's capable of lockout though. Thanks for the reply.

if this is your model, it appears to have a remote compression spool and a standard compression knob option. you need to contact rockshox and check availability or ebay or Bike shop. for the standard knob
