+2 on Nitrile OR Latex from Harbor Freight. It's been a while since I bought a box of 100 but I don't think it was more than 5 or 6 bucks. Whenever I needed something heavier duty than 6-mil, I bought a single pair of Playtex at the grocery store for around 3 or 4 bucks a pair. The Playtex are reusable.

As a general rule, I rarely use gloves and opt for a good hand cleaner instead, like Goop. Big Grin

I go through gloves quickly and than the hands get greasy. I use GoJo Orange and pumice hand cleaner that works great. For larger jobs (no small parts) and for working on my motorcycle I wear mechanics gloves.
