Road bike clicking sound
#1
I own a Fuji Roubaix and when I pedal, I get the same constant clicking sound as when I am coasting. I have heard that there shouldn't be any sound when pedaling so is there anything wrong with my bike? How should I fix this problem or is this sound normal.

There may be some sound but not a constant click. Without more info there are too many possibilities to do anything but guess. So...

Is the bike new, new to you, or have you owned it for some time?

If new have you gone back to the shop to have them look at it?

When did the problem start?

Was there any maintenance or incident that immediately preceded the problem occurring?

Is the clicking just as often as the freewheel clicking or at a different rate?

Does the noise occur in all gear combos?

Does it occur when you are on the bike and in the stand?

A video with sound may be helpful.

It's pretty new, only owned it for like 2 and a half months.
If new have you gone back to the shop to have them look at it?
Nope, since it sounds normal I guess. It's the same sound as when I am free wheeling, just maybe a little quieter
When did the problem start?
I forgot.

Nope

It's just as often as the freewheel clicking, just a tiny bit quieter.
Does the noise occur in all gear combos?
Pretty much

It happens when I am riding the bike normally.
So Basically I get the same sound when pedaling as when I am free wheeling. Is this normal?

What did the shop say? I have certainly heard of clicking caused by some weird things and I am curious to find out.
