based on how the drop is attached, it is a very inexpensive department store bike.

Doesn't look like stainless steel spokes, maybe old galvanized?

The headlight assembly is not in some of the pictures due to current disassembly.

I found a German tag on the front rim? It says Made In German
Not made in germany?

Are you sure the rims are original? They appear to polished aluminum, rather than chromed steel or painted steel that were most likely original.

I feel that the rims are original. They have a pitted patina. There is also what looks like a horseshoe on the rim...also there is a engraving on the front rim that says:
M.O. MFG Co.

The rims look (at least from their shape) much like the ones I originally had on my beater. I guess 80s? "Made in Germany"... hm. I'll try and drop by at my LBS and ask him, if time permits.

THE MYSTERY IF SOLVED!
The bike is a 50's-60's Iverson Repaint. I had a guy look at that had one. He thought everything looked stock except the back tire. Check out the links below:
