Shortening a Chain on a Toddler's Bike
#1
I'm a newbie at bike maintenance, and my 3-year-old's bike has a loose chain. There's one chain link that looks different from the others, but I couldn't get anything on it to move or slide, and I'm just guessing about what I'm supposed to do.

How do I remove a link from a chain, please?

there are many different ways that they open, good close up pictures required to assist you.

Note also that on a bike with a single gear in front and back, you can tighten the chain by moving the rear wheel back a little in the frame. Taking a whole link out of the chain will tighten it a lot.
