BB and crankset change

I have a old murray eliminator that I want to change the 1 pc crankset to a 3 pc, 1 can that be done an 2 what size would BB be if I had to get new one for crankset and spindle.

yes; and it depends on the crank set you choose and the width of your frame.

Hey Nigel I noticed the above (1st link you put ) is 130mm?
Good maintenance to your Bike, can make it like the wheels are, true and smooth!

I had not noticed that......

From the appearance of it, the axle could probably be replaced with one of the many others Pyramid catalogues.

1 pc are generally called American. Have not heard of "mid" before. Where did you see that term?

I'd go with the SBS conversion. You still have to pick a BB, which will depend on the crankset you choose.

If you pick the Pyramid kit, you may have to change the axle depending on the crankset you choose.
