Stripped retaining bolt on right crank arm

After snapping one of the two screws that tights the crank arm around the spindle, I tried to loosen my FSA retaining bolt with an Allen wrench and managed to strip it. Does anybody know how I can remove it? I've already ordered a new one from Amazon.

You should be able to find what you need at your local hardware store or home improvement center. You can get a bolt remover that will go into the hex head hold and will cut into it to tighten itself inside the bolt as you loosen it. Just make sure that you get the right size bolt remover and make sure that you use some WD40 to help free the bolt before trying to remove it. Too much torque on the bolt remover can cause the head of the bolt to snap off.

I'm not familiar with the model but is it possible that someone used locktite or similar type thread lock?

You can put blue loctite on the screws, but don't forget to tighten them to recommended torque, usually marked on the crankarm...

Thank you - this is good advice. I'll visit my local hardware store this weekend and see what they have.
