Yesterday I rode my new Cannondale Hooligan 8 about 16 miles. I have modified/configured the bike as a short-commute, little go-getter and it's great at that, a total blast! One thing I haven't changed are the stock tires: Kenda Kwest 20x1.5 at 60 psi, knowing that at some time (maybe soon) I will probably put on Schwalbe Marathons.
But yesterday, upon my return, I noticed a clearish gummy fluid leaking at two points from front tire. Did LBS put in too much sealant and this was excess leaking away? Is this normal? Is this a bad thing I will die of?
The air temp was about 65 degrees F and the asphalt about the same and dry. I did brake pretty hard a few times, but I do not curb jump or abuse the bike.
Can you help solve this mystery?
