Gear Block Removal Tool
#1
Hello

Can I buy an adapter for removing my gearblock from my rear hub anywhere?
I worked in a bike shop many years ago and these adapters have only been available to the trade.

I need to change my rear wheel due to the state of the rim and a damaged ball race caused by a bent axle.
Regards

Jim

Good maintenance to your Bike, can make it like the wheels are, true and smooth!

There are several types, do you have a freewheel or a freehub and cassette?

In any case, once you know what type you need there are lots of places you can buy them on-line:

Hi.

It is the freewheel type which screws onto the hub and has a "star" type fitting for the removal tool.
Thanks for the links to suppliers.
