Brake lever adjustment?

I have Tektro V-style 328A levers for Shimano M420 V brakes on my Bike Friday NWT, and am getting ready for a solo ride across BC late July. Haven't worked on this or any bike in awhile.

I can't seem to find a good diagram or tech sheet for the levers. The adjusting nuts seem to work opposite to the way I remember. I've got the brakes adjusted now, all done at the wheel end of the cable. But I'd like to understand the levers better, in view of the Rocky Mountains...

Any recommendations?

Here is Tektro's entire page of downloadable pdf section. All you have to do is find one that is close to your. I looked for the 328A and could not find one. As I always ask, what kind of bike do you have? Road Bike, Touring, Mountain Bike, or other? Here is the link.....

Thanks for quick reply, Bill. I looked over the PDFs but couldn't determine which one I have. 328A, I agree, is not listed, no surprise as the bike was bought new in 2001. If I had to pick one of the look-alike levers, it would probably be the BMX, because of the 20" wheels, but my logic could be flawed here...

The Bike Friday New World Tourist is a folding tourer with 20" wheels, sold by Green Gear in Eugene Oregon. it's one of those bikes that pack into a suitcase, which then becomes a trailer after you reassemble the bike in the airport or bus station.

My problem boils down to finding the tech info for an antique part, so Green Gear may be my best bet.

What you could also do is email the tektro people and see if they can help you that way. Sometimes they have the information, just not on the web.
