Front Derailleur Trouble
#1
Hello everyone,

While riding today I tried shifting my front Derailleur to the big chain ring and it won't shift. When I shift to the middle and small chain ring it works fine. Now the part that is making me crazy is when I have the bike on my car trunk rack it is what I use for a repair stand the front Derailleur shifts fine I get back on the bike and ride then go to shift into the big chain ring and it won't go.

I rechecked the shifting into the middle and lower chain ring and it works fine.I have tried to adjust the barrel for the front Derailleur and nothing. So it seems that when I am under pressure it doesn't shift when I am not it shifts fine.

What is wrong ? Help Please and thank you for all your time.
The bike is a 2008 Fuji touring bike here is the bike

I hope someone can shed some light on the subject.

It sounds as though you may have to adjust the high gear limit stop so that the cage can move further out.

Thank you for your reply and yes I have adjusted the high gear screw and this fixed it.
