First attempt at wheel truing.
#1
Got hold of some new spokes for my wheel, and whilst in the LBS I bought a park tools SW-7 spoke tool, When I got home I put 8 spokes in total into the wheel, all on the external drive side as these were all damaged.

Well just finished my first attempt at wheel truing, I wasn't hoping for much to be honest as I replaced so many spokes I had thrown the true of the rim right out but I followed a few online guides and I have to say I am pretty happy with the results, it's nigh on spot on.

The main gripe I have is that there's a slight dip in the rim as I spin it, it's circular, not side to side, it's only about 1-1.5 mm but it is there, I would try to get it out but the true of the wheel is very good so I might leave it.

Would it be ok to leave it as is and how can I try and get it out without throwing the true out?

Congrats on your first wheel true!

1-1.5mm is not much and you could easily leave it alone. If you want you can fix the dip by tightening the spokes 1/4 turn in pairs on both sides, just in the area where the dip is. You will probably have to adjust the true again a little bit.
