Any companies want to send bikes for testing?

If any company that makes strong bikes for heavy riders, wants to send me a bike, I can test it and let them know what breaks.

I am sure there are others who would be willing to test bikes.

Aren't we all testing (sadly) bikes? Sadly because we paid for our bikes but I am sure we have used them beyond what the manufacturer recommended them for..:-)

For a fact, I know my fat bike wasn't made to tour or bikepack on. But I am so glad that I had it in South America and now in India.

In India, I had to get off the pavement so many times, and many a times that can be anywhere from a few inches drop to a foot or more. I am not sure if a thinner tire could handle that as well as my 4-inch tires have.

If we tested them officially, we would name the make and model, and list the type of brakes, derailleur, etc.

We would talk about the things we particularly like about the bike, and the things we are not so fond of.

Then we would describe all the things that failed.

A lot of people who have Youtube channels promoting bikes and bike accessories, get sent free bikes and accessories to test.

One of the companies which makes bikes for heavy riders, has had a very heavy man ride one of their bikes many kilometers, and nothing has broken. They use this to promote their bikes. I am sure he rides on good smooth roads. I am no where near as heavy as this man, but I do a lot of riding on rough tracks. I could ride one of their bikes and send real feedback about what breaks. I could either just send information privately, or post it on a website like this, depending on what they wanted. Maybe their bikes are really strong, and will not break.

Are there any active members here from Bike Brands? I own and operate a bikeshop, I can totally see the potential for BikeReview becoming a really nice R&D hub kinda like what Souke Sports has done with their jerseys
