By the way, Froome is staying at INEOS for the time being. They will have an insane lineup. Actually, Jumbo has a strong too.

I strongly believe that there will be surprises from other teams too

Sagan had a solid high-altitude training camp in the Alps haha Big Grin

BTW did you read that those who were racing in Sibiu Tour won't be able to participate in Strade Bianche?

Strong performance by van Aert while Fuglsang came in fifth -> not bad with Sagan out of contender list Tongue
Only 42 finishers !

Yes I will be surprised if the season will go as expected but probably there will be some changes and cancelled/moved events unfortunately

Fuglsang had overheating in the sun, Alaphilippe got like six punctures. Crazy race! Lots of punctures for others as well and the heat.

Oh dear! What an awful crash today in Tour de Pologne Sad Was it an intentional act by Groenewegen or just sloppy?

This accident once again raises a few safety questions and concerns. Is 80kph downhill finish the best idea?
Groenewegen should get punished but it is more complicated than that.

Wout van Aert is hot right now. I finally managed to watch a race and it was a great battle for Sanremo.

Thanks again to everyone for keeping me in the loop. I know I don't comment here, but I do follow your commentary and check out the links you post. I have not seen 1 second of racing this year so it is informative for someone like myself. I was able to get out on my old '80s "lo-pro" this weekend to knock out a "leisurely" 10 mile "TT" before the heat started to hit me. Started out at 90°F in the shade, so for my advanced years I wasn't feeling bad about a short ride, but still about 1/2 the distance I do on that frame at a much higher pace.
I will continue to follow all the posts. Thanks again!

There's still a lot of gas in the tank; well done in this heat Exclamation
Make sure to tune in for Tour de France. It starts on 29th of August.

JUMBO looks strong ahead of the Tour

Luckily he's alright (as much as fractured pelvis and other injuries fit with "being alright") because it could have been much worse.
