Looking for online bike fit reviews
#1
Hey everyone,

I'm currently trying to dial in my riding position to deal with some lower back tightness on longer rides, and I'm looking into getting a proper bike fit. Since local shop options around me are a bit limited (and honestly quite expensive), I've been looking into online alternatives.

I recently came across thebikefitting.com and was curious about it. Has anyone here actually used this site before? If so, what was your experience like with their process, and did the adjustments actually help your comfort or performance on the road?

Would love to hear some honest reviews before I dive in. Thanks in advance!

looks like a pretty decent website to get an online fit, its a good start especially if you don't have a clue what a good riding position is which usually takes a long time to decipher for your self without the help of experienced riders giving some tips or a local community showing you the ropes.

but if I may, I see so much value with in person fits that wouldn't be possible with any type of data driven camera operated bike fitting, proper feedback coming from your self, subtle non verbal cues that show up in your face, the power you produce, some wincing (pain points) that are all caught in the fitting session are all very important data points that a camera and angle setup cant really capture yet

on top of that , getting a detailed analysis of your body parts like for example a leg being longer than the other by a few cm or may be some medical issue like plantar fasciitis could be issues that no software or online bike fit could properly address right now

there is great value in getting a professional bike fit so I do urge to look for your friendly local bike fitter and booking schedule today haha

hope this helps!
