Just a Ride and Video
#1
Ride along the foothills with my buddy TC (Tony). We started cycling together back in 1992'ish. Been what, 34 years?

I like to make a little chat section then follow up with a music ride video. I'm a classic rock person as you will see. Just some exercise for us old guys, I'm 63 and he's 64. Been HS friends since 1976. Only wish we had video and internet back in the late 90's when we did plenty of organized rides and events. Back when there was no internet to doc our rides, or Strava when we probably did most of our hardcore rides. Getting old ain't so bad as long as we keep exercising but for cycling PR's, it sucks ha ha ha!

I do like to kid and joke around at times just to start conversation but too many people take things too seriously. For me, it's all entertainment and fun.

Testing a youtube link to see how it posts on this site. Update: Ah, it worked! Big Grin

Making videos since 2012. One of my favorites. My wife and I on our tandem with a couple of buddies. Santa Ana River Trail that travels car free for 60 miles round trip. Probably my favorite trail with a couple others around here that compare in length but not scenery and cleanliness.

BTW, few years back so my gopro back then didn't have stabilization like today's recorder.

Another one of my favorites. My wife on her single ridding with me and a couple of buddies on the trail, 44 miles at 17.2 average speed. Also the Santa Ana River Trail (SART for the locals).

She's wearing the bright green neon top. Please don't confuse her with the guys, I wouldn't marry any of them ha ha ha!

The top video in the foothills, I used it some on the straight sections. I also use a small 5 inch tripod in my hand so that I can pan around while riding.

The lower videos are older so I used older go pro recorders but on similar type Chinese mounts. 2 for $10 types. I was also using a Gramin gps back then so I have changed equipment since the earlier vids.
