Velowave Ranger break change question
#1
Hello!

I tried to change my Velowave ranger e-bike breaks and the lever would not have traction. I researched and learned I needed to bleed the breaks, I tried the top method with the cup with a break bleeding kit. Still had the same issue, I tried to use the syringe at the caliper but the hole was too small for any of the included adapters.

Is it just trapped air in the calipers/line that is casing break handle to not have pressure?

Thanks for and help,

Dean

When you did this, did you reset the pads with a press?

If it's not engaging at all, that sounds like a more serious, almost twilight zone issue.

Some brakes require special bleed kits, and you won't be able to use just any kit. Research the specific brand that you have and check again. I would imagine if there was air in the line, you would just have a weak break, not have no brakes at all.
