Tire size and choice for commuting
#1
I have a city bike I use for road commuting 8 miles per day, but the original fit tires are rubbish. They say 700x30c on the side wall. I want a better tire and I've found the Continental city contact which has great reviews. But the min size I've found is 700x32c. My question is this;

1) Can I fit the 32 to my rim
2) Is this actually a good tire?

Cheers

Eddie

As far as it being a good tire I never used, as long as good reviews then hey should be fine. As far as the size difference you will be ok going up a size. Here is a site that may put a little light on some things... http://sheldonbrown.com/tire-sizing.html .Before buying/ordering wait to see if one of the guys here correct me in my assessment.
Good maintenance to your Bike, can make it like the wheels are, true and smooth!

Bill is right, the 700x32 will work fine. It'll just be a bit wider. Continental makes great tires!

I really need to study up on the cm sizes more though. Thanks for verifying that.
