Good Morning from SW Ohio

Hello! Just wanted to introduce myself. 70 yr old male enjoying my retirement.
I haven't owned a car for 20 years now. Commuted by bike and bus for the last 10 years of work.
I don't ride for fun much anymore, but get plenty of riding to get groceries, run errands and socialize. I used to ride any time the roads were clear and dry, but my old bones don't get along with cold temps very well. So it's just coming into riding season here for me. I'm ready!
I'm riding folding bikes now so I don't have to get my leg up over that top bar. I have a Zizzo forte for everyday and an old Raleigh 20 or "shopper" for parades and Sunday rides.
My other pastimes are ham radio using Morse code and ukulele.
I really like retirement. I should have done it in my 30s!

@Carfree welcome and glad that you are enjoying your retirement regardless of age. My dad's 82 and still not ready to retire..:-)

While, I am in my 40s and enjoying travelling to far away places on my fat bicycle while still doing part-time teaching and such.

So, glad to hear that you still enjoy ham radio and ukulele. I often fancy picking up ukulele because then I could entertain hosts or folks who host me or bring me into their lives..:-)

Please share photos of your bicycles..

@Carfree I cycled through Ohio on the southern route passing through Chillicothe, Xenia, & Dayton. Nice area (except through Dayton).
