Hello from Washington, DC! I haven't ridden a bike in many decades. Now that they're electric I'm thinking about riding again.

Welcome!

Do your research before buying an e-bike. Many features, many brands. Spare battery and good customer service are extremely important. Also, get familiar with riding again. You need to be able to ride at higher speeds than what you may ridden at before and braking systems have changed over the past 20 years.
Take care,
Jesper
