Fat Tire E-Bike For a Short Guy
#1
Hey guys, I’m at my wits end. I’m short. I didn’t choose my parents well. I’m 5’6” with a 29” inseam. I can’t find a fat tire mountain e-bike with dual suspension that fits me. I bought a Jeep Rubicon small frame and my feet weren’t flat on the floor and the bar was still touching my crotch. I had to return it. Went to my local bike shop and tried a few others. Same issue. I know there are step-thru bikes, but I can’t fine one with dual suspension. Any suggestions? Links if possible.

I suggest:

Don't get a fat bike unless you plan to ride in a place where you need a fat bike, such as in the snow. Get a mountain bike. Fat bikes go slower than mountain bikes, with the same effort peddling.

Don't get an electric bike unless you really need it. A lot of ebike batteries have been catching on fire, and sometimes killing people. I would wait until they bring out safer batteries. Electric bikes are being banned in some places.

So if you look for a (non-electric) pedal mountain bike, can you find something that is the appropriate size?
