Cooster brake won't pedal

My 26-in coaster brake will not engage when I pedal it just spins and it won't break I've repacked them with grease multiple times tightened it too much didn't tighten it enough I can't figure it out

It is difficult to know without seeing it.

Does the part that he has his left thumb on, move freely on the screw thread attached to the sprocket? The problem may be caused by that part not moving freely. When the sprocket rotates forward, it should move towards the sprocket. When the sprocket rotates backwards, it should move away from the sprocket.

The threaded portion on the drive side needs to actually integrate with the housing piece (coaster brake cone). There's also usually a spring in there and it all goes together. Make sure the plates are in the correct way. It can be tricky to get it all together.
