Rad Power RadWagon 4 - Check and maybe update this information

Under '9 reasons not to buy'

you say

'The odd wheel size of 22” limits tire choices on the bike. Only Rad Power supplies replacement tires in the correct size.'

I think you will find that 18 inch motorcycle tires will fit. I think that is a big plus, particularly on cargo bikes, as motorcycle tires are stronger. If I had one, I would run motorcycle tires and tubes.

Common Name 22"

ISO in MM 457

ISO In Inches 18"

I don't know for sure. I suggest finding out the ISO size of the wheels on the bike.

I will be very surprised if they don't fit.

They are probably not providing this information, so they sell more tires.

Thanks for pointing this out! I only oversee the newest video reviews, and the written reviews attached to those (I've completed about 6 so far.) Most of the info for these written review pages comes from 3rd party reviews and our team then edits the info into the pages. I will pass this along.

Great idea to run moto tires on e-bikes, I can assume the longevity and flat resistance would be amazing! Have you tried it out? Would they mate up to the rims nicely? Or do motorbike tires have a larger or different bead? I took a look and saw some setups. The other thing I would worry about it getting the tire on the rim (for our general consumers who are not very techy), I have not swapped a moto tire on rims, but I know the more stiff and thick an MTB tire the harder it is to swap, my double down Maxxis rubber with inserts is a serious job to swap until I got the right tools and procedure. The other thing would be interesting to see how rolling resistance is affected by the heavier tire and tread, and how that affects speed and acceleration on the bike (depending on motor)

I like the concept though, especially for some of these random-sized brands. I know even tubes, I had to order 26"X4" tubes special for the bikes, shops don't carry them here. I think a moto tire would do great on some of these heavy hunting bikes, or on modded e-bikes. I have seen some big setups with 1000W motors I would love to see some dirtbike tires on.
