I've recently acquired a 1988 Diamondback Ascent Ex frameset and I'm trying like crazy to find an original spec sheet. Also, if anyone would know where to acquire the original decals that would be awesome 👌
Thanks for your time!

Try the BMXmuseum.com site. There may be examples of your bike and owners that know the specs for it, as well as people selling decals in the marketplace forum. Here is a link to a BMX site where you can request decals for specific models if they don't already have them being reproduced:

Many cycling forums have a library or gallery of sorts with scanned catalogs; some require membership (free and paid) to view, and others do not.
Velobase might have something although it's a little more of a road bike oriented site it wouldn't hurt to check.
Another place I have used for newer bikes is bikepedia.com where you can sometimes find the bike specs and a photo. Usually not of help to me since I ride handmade low volume bikes; bikepedia is best for well known brands around the late 80s-early 90s and later.
