Update on FSA SL-K 392EVO Stone Oval Chainring Compatibility
#1
Happy to report today that I can confirm the compatibility of the Stone Oval chainring 96BCD marketed for Shimano M782 M612 M4000 etc. with the FSA SL-K Modular 392EVO crankset. I finally received this chainring today and everything fit together perfectly.

Unfortunately, they only make it up to 48T; but just to note if you have one of these, I believe this is your only option for sizes above 38T.

I purchased this from AliExpress from seller Sports goods stores and oddly, the post was taken down. Maybe it was relisted. I didn't check.

Anyways, very excited to be adding a carbon crank to the build I am working on with this. The size I got here is 46T—which is for urban. This crankset fits just like Shimano with the proper FSA 392EVO BB, requiring only one 2.5mm spacer to the drive side for BSA.

It is an important aspect to note as well, because the profile for the spider on this crank matches that of the new age 96BCD Shimano SLX, Deore, Deore XT—but the bolt-mounted Stone Oval Chainring for those series cranks doesn't fit this FSA SL-K.
